The Luistervink Check-in gives employees time to talk about work, energy, ambitions, development or life outside work. Without a performance review or HR agenda.
How people feel and whether they feel comfortable speaking up matters in everyday working life. An independent conversation offers an additional space to reflect, voice an idea or explore something they may not yet be ready to discuss at work.
You make the conversation possible. The employee leads it.
I listen, ask questions, reflect on what’s being said and offer my thoughts when needed. The employee always stays in control. Everything discussed remains confidential. Employees decide for themselves whether they want to share anything with their employer.
If helpful, I can share general insights and areas for attention with the employer, provided that nothing can be traced back to individual employees.

The ART of truly listening!
After 15 years of working in employment services, personal development, and (stress and burnout) coaching, I’ve learned one crucial lesson: truly listening is an ART.
In a world where everything has to be fast-paced and results-driven, we tend to jump straight to solutions and advice. For years, I worked that way too. But along the way, I discovered that the real power often lies in doing the exact opposite: not needing to fix anything for a moment, but simply listening.
That insight is how Luistervink was born. Because when someone feels truly heard and gets the space to think out loud, new insights often emerge naturally. Without judgment, without rush, and without well-meaning advice.
So, what is Luistervink doing at Dutch Design Week?
It’s simple: I’m here to put the art of listening into practice! No coaching programs, no complicated questions, and no solutions. Just a place where you can share your story, whether it’s serious, lighthearted, or anything in between.
